What the Fairfax Farmers Market lacks in size it makes up for in charm. One of the most beautiful farmers markets in the Bay Area, this market is a beloved community gathering place for the Town of Fairfax. Due to its proximity to West Marin, the market welcomes a handful of local growers from just over the hill in addition to a number of farmers from Sonoma and neighboring counties. Wednesdays at the Fairfax Farmers Market enable the town to put into action their call to "think global, shop local."

MAI’s most charming market is up and running. Wednesday nights under the Redwoods of Bolinas Park are brimming with the freshest fruits and veggies of the season, delicious prepared foods, live music from local musicians, and vibrant connections between members of the Fairfax community and the members of MAI. We’re pleased to welcome back our tried and true farmers and food purveyors as well as some new additions including: County Line Harvest, Sonoma County Honey, Del Real Dates, Pizza Politana, Mi Fiesta Catering Co. and Fairfax local Fat Angel Bakery. We’re also excited to transition along with the town of Fairfax away from single use plastic bags – read the recent recent article in the Marin IJ. We at MFM admire the Town of Fairfax’s initiative in passing the Plastic Bag Ban Ordinance and expect to see an abundance of tote bags, produce bags, baskets, and other creative reusable containers being filled to the brim every Wednesday.
